Campaigns are typically used by marketing to generate customer communications. In FI Works, we also use campaigns to organize user activities like opportunities and referrals. This is useful in reporting to use as filters or groups to separate these activities.
For example, having two campaigns created for business and retail opportunities allows reports to group opportunities on pipeline reports.
When a user creates a sales opportunity or referral, they are required to select a campaign type:
At a minimum, we recommend the following campaigns be set up for opportunities and referrals:
- Business Opportunities
- Retail Opportunities
