FI Works has a common set of features for Tasks, Opportunities and Cases. This includes toolbar buttons and tracking information that is used to control work flow and to report on the results of a campaign. The example below shows a Task but the tracking information is common across Tasks, Opportunities and Cases.
Toolbar
When an activity is viewed, two new buttons are added to the left side of the toolbar.
- Save - Click the save button when you are finished making changes to this item.
- Save and view Activity Queue - This button saves any changes to the activity and then displays the Activity Queue.
Tracking Tab
The first tab of any activity shows tracking information.
- Status & Disposition - The current status of the activity. Status is set to Active when the Activity is created. Use the Status field to change the current status of the item.
- Disposition - The Disposition indicates the disposition of the activity when it is closed. Each Type can have different disposition reasons. The Dispositions are show beneath the Complete status in the Status drop down list.
- Subject - The customer or prospect that is the subject of the activity. The subject can be an account with the primary customer name, a customer, or a prospect.
- Type - The Type is used to group activities into categories. You must select a Type in order to save the activity.
- Priority - The priority of the activity. Priority is set when the activity is created or when a user changes the priority of the individual item. Use the priority field to assign the activity a higher or lower priority.
- Assigned To - The person that has been assigned the activity. Type in this box to find another user. As you type, matching user names will appear.
- Privacy - The Privacy field controls which users can see the activity. For most users, the only selection is Public. "Public" means that any FI Works user can see the activity. Other options, like "Trust" may be listed. Setting the Privacy field to any value other than "Public" limits who can see the activity.
- Reminders - The reminder field allows you to set a reminder for any activity. The reminder date has to be in the future.
