You may record, or log, a contact that you had with a customer, prospect, or lead.
- To record a contact with a customer or prospect, search for the customer or prospect and click the appropriate link on the Search Results screen.
- Once the profile is displayed, click on the Record a Contact button on the toolbar or in the Activity History section of the profile screen.
- Enter the contact information. When entering fields that have an arrow at the left, you can enter the first few characters of data or click on the arrow to select from a list.
- The date and time for the contact will default to the current date and time. You may user the calendar button and the clock button to change these default values.
